... Second Stop, 5p-8p: Carnegie Center for Literacy & Learning
LAL is presents WITNESS. Artists collaborated with veterans who are survivors of military sexual trauma to create original works of visual art reflective of the survivors’ experiences. All artists and survivors received special training to prepare them for their collaborations, and all storytellers will keep their artwork once the touring exhibition closes.
Third Stop, 5p - 12a: Lexington Visual Collective
LAL partnered with citizensCREATE! on Lexington’s first ever artist trading card project. Area artists created miniature works on business card sized paper- and made enough to trade with 50 other artists. There were no rules and no limits- so long as the works stayed within the roughly 2 inch by 3 inch space.
